In down economy, Grapevine Communications adds 34 new clients, both local and national, plus adds to staff.

Sarasota, Florida – December 10, 2009 – Grapevine Communications, Sarasota’s full-service marketing, advertising and public relations agency, announces strong business growth this year through the addition of key new clients, growing in spite of a struggling economy.

Last year at this time, Grapevine developed aggressive marketing strategies - for themselves. Clients in diverse industries representing likely sources of new business were targeted, and 34 new clients and additional staff are the result.

One new client is Can-Do National Tape. The company was founded in 1972 and is headquartered in Nashville TN.; they manufacture and distribute a wide range of pressure-sensitive tapes & adhesive products. As a new Grapevine client, Can-Do Tape’s VP of Sales and Marketing Tom Hayes speaks highly of Grapevine, stating “One of our reasons we selected Grapevine was their expertise in the tape and packaging industry. We are confident that Grapevine will bring a new energy and heightened awareness to our national brand.”

Along with the new clients, Grapevine did not lose focus on their existing clients. “In these times, it is important for businesses to keep their company top-of-mind. One example of an updated image for an existing client created by the Grapevine team is AQUA Plumbing & Air. AQUA’s new campaign features a super-hero character; “AQUA-man,” based on owner John Miller. The campaign includes an upcoming social media promotion for AQUA’s new truck fleet, a new consumer-related contest, and design of their 2009 Holiday Card.

Grapevine is also using social media to increase awareness of their agency. Several key measurements for their Facebook page have skyrocketed recently, meaning that Grapevine “fans” are interacting more with the agency through their internet presence.
